In celebration of its 60 years in service, EMCOR, through its corporate social responsibility arm Jesus V. Del Rosario Foundation, donated five 2-storey 4-classroom buildings to the Department of Education Division of Davao City.
On June 30, EMCOR’s beloved Chairman made a quick visit to Davao City for the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement. The donation was accepted with gratitude and enthusiasm by Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte-Carpio.
EMCOR lives the spirit of giving through this donation in line with its six decades of providing top quality products and services to the Filipino people. Through this donation, EMCOR and JVRF joins the city government in its mission to address classroom shortage in the city. Education is a basic right and EMCOR wants the beneficiaries to be able to enjoy success in the future.
With a better quality of facilities and higher standards of education, EMCOR believes we can achieve more as a nation.
The donation will benefit students of the Emilio Ramos National High School in Barangay Angliongto, Biao Guianga Elementary School in Tugbok, Alambre Elementary School in Toril, and Francisco Bustamante Elementary School in Tibungco.
The target for completion and turnover of the school buildings is in the first quarter of 2019.
EMCOR will continue to make contributions towards helping the growth of the nation. This all would not be possible without our loyal customers and employees. May the beneficiaries prosper in their future careers and discover the joy of learning in their new classrooms!
